PLC Maintenance Technician
Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for a PLC Maintenance Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain all production and plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the repair and monitoring of production and utility equipment (e.g., ventilation, compressors, lighting).
- Maintain accurate records, including daily work logs and checklists.
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
- Support assembly, press, and facility-related projects.
- Execute weekend and holiday maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow monthly and shutdown maintenance plans.
- Participate in company programs, including 5S3C and safety initiatives.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Flexibility to work changing shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a basic tool set and be able to support radio communications during work hours.
