PLC Maintenance Technician

Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for a PLC Maintenance Technician


Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain all production and plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Oversee the repair and monitoring of production and utility equipment (e.g., ventilation, compressors, lighting).
• Maintain accurate records, including daily work logs and checklists.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Support assembly, press, and facility-related projects.
• Execute weekend and holiday maintenance tasks as required.
• Follow monthly and shutdown maintenance plans.
• Participate in company programs, including 5S3C and safety initiatives.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility to work changing shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a basic tool set and be able to support radio communications during work hours.
